Creating a Commerce Account

Anyone can open a free Commerce account from our website. The email address that is used to open an account can be associated with only one account, and the screen name that you enter becomes your identity in the forums.

After you create your account, it is strongly recommended that you use Two-factor Authentication (TFA) to secure your account.

Create a Commerce account

  1. Go to the Commerce site.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click Sign In and choose Commerce (Magento).

  3. Click Create an account.

  4. Under Personal Information, do the following:

    • Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email address.

    • Enter your Company Name and set My Company Primarily to the best description of what your company does.

    • Set My Role to the best description of what you do for the company.

    • Set Country to reflect your operational location.

  5. Under Login Information, do the following:

    • Enter a Screen Name to identify you in the Community Forums.

      Your screen name can be from four to fifteen characters long, can include numbers and the underscore, but must start with a letter.

    • For Password and Confirm Password, enter the desired password for your account.

      Your password must be between 8-16 characters, and include at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character or lowercase letter.

  6. After you complete verification and accept terms of service, click Save.

    Your account dashboard appears.

Log in to your Commerce account

  1. Go to the Commerce site.

In the upper-right corner, click Sign In and choose Commerce (Magento).

  1. Enter the Email address that is associated with your account.

  2. Enter your Password.

  3. When complete, click Continue.

Receive a new password

  1. If you forget your password, click Forgot Your Password?

  2. Enter the Email Address that is associated with your account and click Submit.

    You will receive an email from Adobe with a temporary password that you can use to log into your account. Then, reset your password from the dashboard of your account.

Reset your password

  1. Go to the Commerce site and log into your account.

  2. In the left panel, choose Account Settings.

  3. Click Change Password.

  4. Enter your Current Password.

    If you forgot your password, enter the temporary password that was sent to you.

  5. Enter your New Password and again for Confirm New Password.

    Your password must be between 8-16 characters, and include at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character or lowercase letter.

  6. When complete, click Save.

You can link your Commerce account to your Adobe ID for single sign-on across all Adobe Commerce products and simpler user account management. When your Commerce accounts are linked to an Adobe ID in the Commerce Identity Manager and you are logged into that Adobe ID, you bypass the standard Commerce product login process and do not need to log in again.
