Using a requisition list saves time when purchasing frequently-ordered products because items are added to the shopping cart directly from the list. Customers can maintain multiple lists that focus on products from different vendors, buyers, teams, campaigns, or anything else that streamlines their workflow. It is available for both logged-in users and guests.

Requisition list functionality is similar to wish lists, with the following differences:

  • A requisition list is not cleared after sending items to the shopping cart. It can be used multiple times.
  • The user interface for requisition lists uses a compact view in order to display a large number of items.

To enable requisition lists for your store, see Configuring B2B Features. It can allow up to 999 requisition lists to be maintained for each customer account, depending on the configuration.

Create a requisition list

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Method 1: From a customer account

      • In the sidebar of your account, choose My Requisition Lists.

      • On the Requisition Lists page, click Create New Requisition List.

    • Method 2: From a product page

      • From any product detail page, click Add to Requisition List.

      • Click Create New Requisition List.

  2. Enter the Requisition List Name and Description.

  3. When complete, click Save.

Add products to a requisition list

Products may be added to a requisition list from:

  • Product pages
  • The catalog page
  • The shopping cart
  • Existing orders

Method 1: From the Product Detail page

  1. From the storefront, go to the detail page of the product that is to be added to the requisition list.

  2. Click Add to Requisition List and do one of the following:

    • Choose an existing requisition list.
    • Create a new requisition list.

Method 2: From the Catalog page

  1. From the storefront, go to the catalog page that contains the product that is to be added to the requisition list.

  2. Hover over the product.

  3. Click Add to Requisition List and do one of the following:

    • Choose an existing requisition list.
    • Create a new requisition list.

Method 3: From an existing order

  1. In the sidebar of your account dashboard, choose My Orders.

  2. At the top of the order, click Add to Requisition List and do one of the following:

    • Choose an existing requisition list.
    • Create a new requisition list.

Method 4: From the cart

  1. Under the item, click the Add to Requisition List menu and do one of the following:

    • Choose an existing requisition list.
    • Create a new requisition list.

View the updated requisition list

Log in to your customer account and use either of the following methods to view any of your requisition lists.

Method 1: From your account

  1. In the sidebar of your account dashboard, choose My Requisition Lists.

  2. In the list of requisition lists, click View in the Actions column.

Method 2: From the storefront

  1. In the quick links bar at the top of the page, click your user name.

  2. On the menu, choose My Requisition Lists.
