The AdminThe password-protected back office of your store where orders, catalog, content, and configurations are managed. Actions archive lists the CSVComma Separated Values: A type of file used to store data values which are separated from each other by commas. log files that are stored on the server. In the configuration, you can specify how long the log entries are stored, and how often they are archived. By default, the file name includes the current date in ISO format:  yyyyMMddHH.

Log archiving requires a cron job to be set up.

To configure the log archive:

1. On the Admin sidebar, tap Stores. Then under Settings, choose Configuration.
2. In the panel on the left under Advanced, choose System.
3. Expand the Admin Actions Log Archiving section, and do the following:
a. In the Log Entry Lifetime, Days field, enter the number of days that you want to keep the log entries in the database before they are removed.
b. Set Log Archiving Frequency to one of the following:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
4. When complete, tap Save Config.

To view the archive:

1. On the Admin sidebar, tap System.
2. Under Actions Logs, choose Archive.
